Me & You Kitchen + Cocktails was born out of friendship, hard work, and Detroit pride. After more than a decade of building community spaces like M!X Bricktown and The Lockeroom, Angie set out to create something new for the East Side, a spot that feels like home but brings a fresh energy to the neighborhood.

Alongside her longtime friend Courtney, who spent years working side by side with her behind the bar, the two turned a shared dream into reality. Fourteen years of teamwork led to this moment, opening the doors to a place that celebrates food, culture, and connection.

Me & You isn’t just about cocktails, brunch plates, or late-night bites. It’s about creating a space where people can come together, laugh, celebrate, and feel part of something bigger. Our motto says it best: “There is no ME, without YOU.”

This is more than a restaurant. It is our story, and it is also Detroit’s story, one of resilience, friendship, and building something for the community together.
